Dear Parents,

I hope this letter finds you and your families in good health and high spirits. On behalf of the entire faculty and staff at GPES, I would like to extend a warm welcome to all the parents and students of our IGCSE program in Key Stage 4.

We are thrilled to have you join our school community and embark on this exciting journey together. At GPES, we are committed to providing an exceptional educational experience that not only prepares our students for the IGCSE examinations but also equips them with the necessary skills and knowledge to thrive in their future endeavors, be it at university or in the workforce.

Our dedicated team of teachers and support staff have been carefully selected for their expertise and passion in their respective fields. They are not only well-versed in the IGCSE curriculum, but also possess the necessary experience and training to effectively guide our students towards success. We take pride in our ability to provide a nurturing and stimulating learning environment where each student is encouraged to reach their full potential.

Our approach to exam training is designed to be efficient and comprehensive. We understand the importance of thorough preparation, and our teachers are committed to providing students with the tools and resources necessary to excel in their IGCSE exams. From regular assessments and mock exams to personalized feedback and one-on-one support, we strive to ensure that our students are well-prepared and confident when it comes time to sit for their examinations.

However, our commitment to our students extends beyond exam preparation. We believe in holistic education that goes beyond the classroom walls. At Global Paradigm English School, we strive to differentiate and personalize every child’s learning experience, as we are strong believers that no two pupils are the same. Furthermore, our small class ratio, allows teachers to build a one-on-one bond with pupils, encouraging them to make exceptional progress as they learn.

All learning concepts are introduced with the consideration of building and practicing key life skills. Some of those skills include critical thinking, problem solving, reasoning, analysis, effective communication, application of learned content and real world understanding.

About International GCSEs

Pearson Edexcel International GCSE (9–1) qualifications are comparable to the UK GCSE, with appropriate international content and assessment that will enable successful progression for learners.

Pearson Edexcel International GCSEs are studied in over 80 countries worldwide and in independent schools in the UK. Available in 37 subjects, they are equivalent, grade for grade, to UK GCSEs and accepted by universities globally. Aimed at learners aged 14 to 16, they provide the skills and knowledge needed to progress to A Levels, International A Levels, onto university and into employment.

Pearson Edexcel International GCSEs qualifications have been designed in collaboration with subject experts, teachers and university professors, to ensure that the content and assessment methods are appropriate and will enable successful progression for learners.

We have ensured a content route that is appropriate for learners with international topics and the use of culturally sensitive, local contexts where possible. This is to ensure that these qualifications are even more relevant and engaging for students around the world, allowing for learning in a local context to a global standard.

We are supporting students to develop a range of transferable skills (such as problem solving, critical thinking, leadership and collaboration) as part of their International GCSE curriculum. These skills will ensure that students are better equipped to access higher levels of academic study, and will be able to demonstrate highly sought after skills to their future employers.
